There are only a few rules for this forum.
1) Absolutely under no circumstances for no reason at no time is Profanity allowed. Not even "mild" profanity ("Darn" is okay. "D a m n" is not). Violation of this rule is "just" cause for removal (Moderator decision. The reason for the rule is the "slippery slope" principle.).
2) No "flaming" allowed. Presumably we're adults and will treat each other with respect and civility.
3) You MUST register using your Full Name if you want to post anything. No "handles" or cutsey "nom des guerres". Discourse seems to stay more civil that way. If you don't post, then Handles are fine.
4) Registration may ask for some info you may consider personal (your age or birthday for example. Or email address.). I assure you that info is not shared with anyone. You may chose to to display it or not when you set up your Profile when registering. The Birthday display option of the Forum software is kind of neat though (it won't show your age, just a Birthday greeting {grin}).
5) Guests are free to roam (unless a particular forum is restricted for some reason) but may not post. Only registered users are allowed posting privileges.
